About US
We support the African community in Albury Wodonga by preaching and teaching the Word of God in African languages such as Kinyamulenge, Swahili and then interpret into English. We are a church were everyone can feel at home. We are a people who are filled with the Holy Spirit, and we worship God in song, dance and prayer with a strong influence from our African culture. We have a heart to disciple people and bring people to maturity in Christ Jesus. We have a strong focus on building a loving and supportive community. We give special attention to people with a refugee background as we support them in the transition to living in Australia.
We bring people together to connect with each other building friendships that can support them in their everyday life. As Jesus prayed in John 17:21 that we would all be one and that the world would believe that the Father God sent Jesus. We aim to preach the Truth so that people will be set free and learn how to walk in the freedom that Jesus has bought for us. (John 8:32)
We are committed to fulfilling the command of Jesus Christ to go into all the world and makes disciples of every nation as an apostolic church
Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”
